Ceiling Design for a Spiritual Acting Studio

Designed for the creative studio of actress and spiritual practitioner Ekaterina Melnik, this space was envisioned to host both acting and spiritual classes.
 

The ceiling installation - composed of fluid ivory chiffon, cascading white amaranthus, and a thread of LED rope light - is loosely intertwined in an organic, intuitive movement that sets the tone for this meditative space. The light flows through the fabric like energy, glowing gently from within the composition.
 

In a space where expression meets introspection, this ceiling design was conceived as a visual anchor for emotional and spiritual transformation.
 

Soft ivory chiffon drapes are suspended in wave-like layers - catching and diffusing light, shaping a sense of calm, openness, and elevation. Flowing gently from above, preserved white amaranthus adds natural texture and symbolic resonance.
Known as the “everlasting flower,” amaranthus embodies continuity, depth, and timelessness.
 

This design invites every visitor to look up - not just physically, but inwardly - offering a space where breath slows, thoughts expand, and truth begins to surface.
